RisuAI Setup Guide

Use Api.Airforce as your OpenAI/Anthropic backend in RisuAI for character roleplay.

Open the RisuAI API settings

Launch RisuAI (web or desktop) → Settings → API. RisuAI supports many backends — we'll use the OpenAI-compatible one.

Configure the OpenAI Compatible provider

Pick "OpenAI Compatible" as your provider, then fill in the URL and API key below. Save.

Provider: OpenAI Compatible
URL: https://api.airforce/v1
API Key: YOUR_AIRFORCE_API_KEY

Pick a roleplay-tuned model

Roleplay variants (the -rp / -speciale suffix) are tuned for character dialogue and creative writing — type the model name directly into the model field.

Start the chat

Open or create a character, pick the persona, and start chatting. Streaming, regeneration, and the standard RisuAI features all work.

These variants are tuned for creative writing and character dialogue.

Want to use Claude natively?

RisuAI also supports the Anthropic protocol. Switch the provider to "Anthropic" and set the URL to https://api.airforce (no /v1) — same API key.
